Class Policies and Rules

Class Policies and Rules

  • First and foremost you must wear safety glasses. Depending on what we are doing you may be required to wear a dust mask as well. After all we are dealing with glass, lead, solder and in some cases cement and grout
  • Space is reserved for 48 hours without prepayment. You must pay for the class in full no less than 10 days prior to the start date. Class space is limited; this gives us a chance to let someone else take the class if you change your mind. You may pay in person by cash, check, or charge or mail in a check.
  • No open-toed shoes are allowed in the work area. I suggest you wear leather as opposed to cloth since it is possible for hot solder to drip on them accidentally.
  • If it is a hot glass class please wear all cotton clothes and do not wear shorts or low cut shirts. I personally prefer long sleeves.
  • Other than classes specifically designed for children you must be 18 years of age to attend.
  • Release of liability forms must be filled out and signed prior to participation in any class.
  • For multi session classes: If for some reason you must miss a class. You may make up the session for a fee, please see the fine print.
  • You may rent studio space during shop hours – Please see me for the schedule if you are interested.

The Fine Print

  • The Fine Print: Classes and Workshops that are cancelled at least 7 days in advance will receive store credit.
  • No-shows and cancellations with less than 7 days notice will forfeit tuition.
  • Credits are non transferable.
